In addition to Drake, Bow Wow says the entire Cash Money/Young Money camp is constantly working.

“[Me and Drake,] we’re the same age so we have a lot of similarities. It’s all love. We don’t really have conversation like that, just once in a blue moon. ‘What’s happening? Congratulations on your success,’ stuff like that. We’re all so busy, that’s something a lot of people don’t understand. Drizzy’s all over the place, you got me with the movie thing, Nicki‘s doing her thing and of course Lil Wayne and all the Young Money imprint is busy working on different areas so we don’t get a chance to really all hang out. But when we do, we do it big.” (VIBE)

Last month, Bow Wow publicly caught feelings after his Fabolous and Drake “Cuff Your Chick” collaboration leaked online.

“My f*cking 1st single leaked man!!! “cuff your chick” feat @myfabolouslife & @drakkardnoir im f*cking heated! Im pissed!!!!,” he wrote Wednesday (May 12) morning. “My album not coming til next year!! I was holding on to that record. It was not suppose to drop. That was my dream project. F*CK!! song was for my fans man! Any song could have leaked. But not that one. That was gone be surprise for yall. A yr early? F*cking yr early? Why me man? I work to hard man! Every f*cking morning its some bullsh*t!” (Bow Wow’s Twitter)

In 2009, Bow Wow said he would be retiring from the rap game.

“This is my last album because for me, there’s no more that needs to be done on the music side, I’ve done everything,” Bow explained. “And the scary thing is I’m 22 years-old and I’m young. I’m still a baby, so it’s kinda like on the music side, I’ve been doing it since five. That’s 17 years of non-stop music, music, music. There’s nothing more to accomplish that I haven’t seen yet…I feel like now it’s time to endure a new challenge…Close the chapter on the Bow Wow legacy…As far as albums, I’m good. Seven albums at 22, that’s crazy.” (Real Talk NY)

However, he later signed a deal with Baby‘s Cash Money Records.

“To the naysayers, I hope that you give me the opportunity to earn your respect,” he wrote Tuesday (August 18) night. “I know that over the years I’ve put many of my faults on display which I make no excuses for. I’m young and I’ve made mistakes and I will make more. No different than any other 22 year old, I still have some growing up to do…To anyone who’s confused or says I don’t belong in Cash Money. Let me remind you that I’ve been down with Baby, Slim, Wayne and the whole Cash Money family from the beginning.” (Global Grind)
