Bow Wow cleared the air and said his “106 & Park” show would not suffer any setbacks due to the controversial broadcasted joke earlier this week.

“Nah man, y’all crazy. No, we’re not getting suspended, we’re not going off the air. We’re on hiatus, that’s why you haven’t seen me on the show as of late because I’ve been using my time to actually fllm for CSI. So I just wanted to go ahead and clear that up for everybody out there not knowing the truth,” Bow Wow said in an Instagram clip posted August 26.

“We all pull our pants up the same, you know what I mean? Everybody talk about everybody. ‘The View,’ you know what I mean? ‘First Take.’ When Stephen A. Smith said what he said, they didn’t suspend the whole show. They just dealt with Stephen A. Smith. We ain’t going on a hiatus because of Karrueche either. We’re doing what we do every fall.”

“Now a brother like me? Would I have read that sh*t? H*ll nah! Nope! Uh-uh. Wouldn’t have did it. Nope! Uh-uh! Nope! Not on duty.” (Bow Wow’s Instagram)

This week, BET executive Stephen G. Hill jumped onto his Twitter page to openly apologize for the “106 & Park” joke.

“(1/4) Last night on 106 & Park there was a stupid, unthoughtful joke made about a young child.,” Hill tweeted August 26.

“(2/4)We apologize publically to the child’s parents (and have done so privately) and we have taken punitive actions with those responsible.”

“(3/4)It was very bad judgment and we will serve you much better in the future.”

“(4/4) Oh, and please don’t hate on Karrueche; it was NOT her fault. We also apologize to her for putting her in that position.” (Stephen G. Hill’s Twitter)

Tran resorted to her Instagram page to discuss the joke’s aftermath.

“Past two days have been extremely draining.. As I geared up for a big day for myself – hosting a live show.. I never expected things to turn out this way.. I apologize to any and everyone who felt offended in any way by the comments made by BET executed through me.. I would never disrespect anyone’s child in any way and anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE Beyoncé. My comments have been in complete shambles.. yes I am human too and yes I do make mistakes.. But all this negativity and death wishes are quite a lot.. Definitely a lesson learned from here forth.. Again, on behalf of MYSELF, my sincerest apologies,” Tran wrote August 26. During her co-hosting segment, Karrueche took a direct shot at Blue’s hair.

“Here are the top six things Blue Ivy thought about the VMAs,” her co-host said followed by Tran saying, “‘I really did wake up like this because my parents never comb my hair.” Yes, that is Karrueche making fun of Blue Ivy’s hair. This is wrong for many reasons, mainly because Blue Ivy’s hair, as you can see in that photo up there, was super adorable at the VMAs, and you can tell she was having fun and feeling cute.
