According to the 24 year-old victim’s attorney, anyone involved in the melee could get sued.

Lucy Pavlovsky, 24, of Hoboken, N.J., suffered two gashes on her arm at Thursday’s melee at club W.i.P. that required 12 stitches to close. “My plan is to sue anybody who threw a bottle, anybody who created that dangerous atmosphere,” Pavlovsky’s lawyer, Javier Solano, said Sunday. Solano said Pavlovsky, a financial planner for Macy’s, was sitting at rapper Fabolous‘ table in the club’s VIP section when all hell broke loose. “It was like a war zone,” Solano said. “You had guys there 300 pounds, 6-foot-5, throwing these bottles as hard as they can.” Pavlovsky was among at least eight people injured in the brawl that witnesses said erupted over a beef between Drake and Brown over singer Rihanna, whom they’ve both dated. New reports claim the club shut down this past weekend over code violations.

Police have shut down a New York City nightclub where singer Chris Brown and rapper Drake’s entourage got into a bottle-throwing brawl. A New York Police Department spokeswoman says the club W.i.P in the city’s SoHo neighborhood was closed Saturday night because of code violations. The NYPD gave no details on the violations. Last week, the SoHo nightclub’s manager got arrested over noise complaints.

Jonathan Cantor, the manager of the club called Greenhouse, was hauled in to the 1st Precinct station house at about 2 a.m. Friday. Police had responded to complaints about loud music blaring from his club at 150 Varick Street. Cantor was not held because of the noise violations, but because he had two outstanding arrest warrants against him, Cornell reported. The NYPD told 1010 WINS police were at the club conducting a business inspection. Cantor was issued two summons, he was found to be in violation of fire code and against alcohol beverage control, according to police. (CBS Local)

In light of the accusations, Drake’s camp has come forward to deny his association to the brawl.

Drake is adamant … he is not responsible for the bloody gash on Chris Brown’s face … claiming he was simply leaving the nightclub when the brawl broke out … but sources tell us, the fight started after Chris Brown and a rapper at Drake’s table started trash talking each other. The rapper hanging with Drake — Meek Mill — was screaming at Chris and Chris was giving it right back to Meek Mill. One of Chris’ lieutenants was also involved in the screaming match. One source says Chris was hurt when Meek Mill hit him with a bottle. A rep for Drake tells TMZ … “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.” The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.” (TMZ)
