[With a long-awaited new audio gem “Blessing In Disquise” arriving in less than 72 hours, R&B singer Ayron Michael tells SOHH why he’s not rushing out new music.]
I’m enjoying creating music. I’m taking it track by track, melody by melody. Moment by moment.
I’m not really focusing on an album per se, but focusing on the reason why I do this. It’s because I love music. I want to take that and enjoy that as long as I can before it starts getting to big and people don’t focus on that.
I’m enjoying the ride as well as taking it song by song. I’m looking to do as much as I can do.
I’ve been putting in my dues for a while but I’ve never gotten to a level that my talent deserves. Working with [FM Records head Kemar McGregor] has been a blessing and he’s a veteran in the music industry. He knows people and he’s talented.
He knows what a hit track is and most importantly, he has a plan. He’s done this multiple times and you go down different paths but it’s great when you go down the correct path.
He’s definitely leading and guiding me. I’m learning from him and bringing on what I’ve learned these past few years along the ride as well.
With the both of us together, I think this ride is going to go further than I’ve ever imagined.
“Blessing In Disquise” is set to officially premiere September 9th.
