According to reports, the Vh1 drug rehabilitation series has failed to secure a big name series star.

The network was unable to woo a big headliner for the show – Lindsay Lohan reportedly turned down $1 million to be rehabilitated by Dr. Drew Pinsky. According to Radaronline.com, VH1 is currently looking to recruit Fergie, the Duchess of York, for the show. The royal recently claimed she was drinking after being caught on video selling access to ex-husband Prince Andrew. (New York Daily News)

Weekend reports suggested Bizzy would become a part of this year’s show.

TMZ has learned Celebrity Rehab is all set to add another star to its cast — “Bone Thugs-N-Harmony” rapper Bizzy Bone. We’re told Bizzy – real name Byron McCane — wants to seek treatment for an addiction to marijuana and alcohol. As we’ve previously reported, the producers behind the VH1reality show starring Dr. Drew have been on a mission to lock down a cast — and fast … or else the show could be in danger. If the show survives — Bizzy could join Tila Tequila and Jason Wahler inside the rehab facility. (TMZ)

Recently, incarcerated rapper DMX was denied an opportunity to leave an Arizona jail and appear on “Celebrity Rehab.”

According to a rep for the Maricopa County Superior Court in Arizona, the judge rejected the rapper’s petition for one reason — he’s already doing really well in the Arizona court-appointed substance abuse program, which ends early in July. After that, the judge says, DMX can pursue treatment at Dr. Drew’s facility — but by then, taping will already have begun for “Celeb Rehab” and X will have missed his chance. (Hip Hop Wired)

Bizzy has accused his former crew of kicking him out of their group in 2003 due to his addiction.

“When they put me out of the group, not only did they put me out, they said I was unreasonable, I couldn’t be worked with, I was an alcoholic and a drug addict,” Bizzy Bone told AllHipHop.com in 2004. “So therefore I couldn’t do any business with anyone else, and everybody was scared to do business with me.” (All Hip Hop)

No further details have been revealed as of now.
