In addition to defending Drake’s image, Birdman also reminded people of Drizzy’s wrath. .

“Well, to me, I think n—as got Drake twisted. A lot of n—as be playin’, pitty-pattin’ with Drake. I don’t like that sh–, period,” Birdman said to us in an exclusive interview. “Drake is one of us, so if you f—in’ with Drake, you f—in’ with us, period!” Birdman wasn’t in attendance when the fight broke out at W.I.P. in NYC, but firmly believes the Take Care MC did nothing wrong. Drake alleges he wasn’t involved in the melee, which left a number of people injured including one of Brown’s bodyguards and NBA player Tony Parker. “To me, Drizzy ain’t did nothin’ wrong, he ain’t done nothin’ wrong to nobody. He just doin’ great music,” Bird said in defense of his artist. “He’s not a reckless guy out there just wildin’ out; he’s a humble kid makin’ great music.” (MTV)

Entering the weekend, reports claimed Drizzy faced a reckless endangerment charge.

Rihanna-loving rapper Drake — whose nasty note to Chris Brown sparked a VIP-room melee — is going to be arrested for throwing a bottle at his rival. Drake is expected to be charged with reckless endangerment, sources said, after a witness told cops the hip-hopper hurled the projectile during the 4:00 am local time mayhem Thursday at the SoHo hotspot W.i.P. The witness did not believe Drake hit anyone with the bottle. If Drake does not agree to surrender by early next week, cops may arrest him during tonight’s concert at Jones Beach, the sources said. Earlier in the week, Drizzy’s camp denied he had anything to do with the club fight.

Drake is adamant … he is not responsible for the bloody gash on Chris Brown’s face … claiming he was simply leaving the nightclub when the brawl broke out … but sources tell us, the fight started after Chris Brown and a rapper at Drake’s table started trash talking each other. The rapper hanging with Drake — Meek Mill — was screaming at Chris and Chris was giving it right back to Meek Mill. One of Chris’ lieutenants was also involved in the screaming match. One source says Chris was hurt when Meek Mill hit him with a bottle. A rep for Drake tells TMZ … “Drake did not participate in any wrongdoing of any kind last night at W.i.P. He was on his way out of the club when the altercation began.” The rep adds, “[Drake] did not engage in any activity which resulted in injury to person or damage to property.” (TMZ)

Recently, West Coast rapper Game vouched for both artists calling a truce.

The Game knows a thing or two about celebrity feuds … and last night, the rapper had some advice for Chris Brown and Drake — squash that beef, ASAP. Game was leaving Roxbury nightclub in Hollywood when we asked about the bottle-throwing brawl in NYC. “Chris Brown is like my little brother, man … and Drake is a cool dude … they just need to cut that out. It ain’t worth it.” Game should know … he famously feuded with 50 Cent and G-Unit for years. But the rapper says he’s not in any hurry to help broker a peace treaty between his two friends — telling us, “I’m gonna stay out of their beef … it’s for the birds.” (TMZ)
