How did the Coors opportunity present itself? Were you approached directly about this or did your management actively seek out this exposure?

I had worked with them once before and it was a great partnership. When approached again about it, I was down to partner up with Coors again.

What most impresses you about this opportunity? Aside from it being awesome to have an association with Coors Light, what do you most love about this campaign? Is it getting a new fan base, having exclusive music supported by such a huge company, etc.?

I love that I’m about to reach an even wider audience, work with a cool company and collaborate with Curren$y who’s been a friend of mine for years.

How special is it to have your close pal Curren$y/Big Sean involved in this? In the hip-hop world, we love when you guys and Wiz Khalifa do music together, so to be in the same partnership with, essentially, your music brother, does it feel like being drafted to the same franchise-setting NBA team?

It was one of the best aspects of this partnership. He’s been my homie since the beginning and it’s been great to work and collaborate with him on this project. It’s great to work with good people who you respect musically and can kick it with also.

What do you make of the popularity of beer these days? With Budweiser doing the Made In American tour, Coors is upping the ante even more by doing such a huge campaign with you guys. Beer used to be looked at as something Homer Simpson would get drunk off of, but it’s making a big splash in today’s young lifestyle community.

I think it’s great that Coors has become involved with things culturally – especially the hip hop culture.

How much fun did you have out in New Orleans? What was the most unexpected element of the Axis party performance? For everyone attending, SOHH included, we can’t wait to see what’s in store at the New York event, what expectations do you guys have? Is it all business or can we expect antics on the stage?

New Orleans is always a great time, it was great to be back and performing there. One of the greatest parts was how welcoming the fans and the city were to us and the music. I’m excited for the New York show, it’s always a great time. There’s always a surprise or two that can happen… you’ll just have to wait and see.
