G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean has taken a moment away from album-making to thank fans for his 2015 album Dark Sky Paradise reach platinum status.
Sean jumped onto his Instagram page last night (April 26) with the major update.
Back in February, Sean dished on putting together his Dark Sky Paradise follow-up release.
“It’s a lot of new music that’s done, but we’re just getting it right. It’s my best work so far. I feel like on my last album, that’s the most comfortable I’ve been. This one is taking that to another level. The concept is crazy. The songs are crazy, and I’ve got a surprise, too. I’ve got a real surprise coming up soon.” (Real 92.3)
Back in December, G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T discussed the chance of a new Big Sean album arriving in 2016.
“The first two projects, we’re looking at mine and Sean’s. I got another album entitled King Push that’s coming out in April. Sean dropping. The Kanye SWISH project, you know he come when he wanna come. I don’t even bother him about his situation.” (Shade 45)

Recently, Pusha talked about the importance of fans seeing the G.O.O.D. Music team as a whole.
“I just wanna make sure the brand caters to the fan, and carries on a tradition of creating innovative ways to engage the fan. I feel like people bought into the creative cultural aesthetic of GOOD Music, and I feel like our fans should see that a lot more, with us as a collective. We should do that in regards to GOOD Music tours, festival. Those are my type of mood board type of situations.” (HNHH)
Hopefully Big Sean will be Rise
