Sean resorted to photo-sharing social media outlet Instragram to reveal the new artwork, which was put together from Kanye West’s DONDA team.

Detroit native and G.O.O.D. Music signee, Big Sean, is back today! He returns to the interwebs with some news regarding his upcoming album, the highly anticipated, Hall Of Fame. Big Sean decided to let loose of the albums artwork today, both editions the standard and deluxe models, for the fans. Both covers are rather interesting and extremely colorful, featuring Sean while staying fairly simple over all. The artwork was designed by DONDA the same folks who have done the Yeezus album art, or lack there of, as well as Lil’ Wayne latest album art, and many more. (Stupid Dope)

Back in February, rap star Lil Wayne revealed he relied on Kanye’s DONDA crew to put together his I Am Not A Human Being II cover art.

“(Kanye) said, you know, man, let me do your cover. I saw the cover and I approved it. He had an explanation behind it – he said, he chose the moth butterfly thing because it has so many different stages of life, and it goes through so many forms and changes, and no one can figure it out, and it’s always beautiful. At a time it’s ugly and at a time it’s beautiful too. And that’s me.” (NOLA)

Earlier this year, B.I. hinted at some of the reception his hip-hop peers gave him over the LP’s content.

A few months back Sean told MTV News that he’d gotten very positive feedback when previewing the album for his peers and even critics. “Everybody I’ve been playing it for has been shocked from rappers, from ‘Ye. I played it for Cole, No I.D., Billboard magazine all these different people and everybody has just been blown away,” he said. “I’m not trying to hype it up or talk it up but it’s obviously the best work I’ve done and I’m excited about it.” (RapFix)

The rapper revealed he will officially drop this August.

Detroit rapper Big Sean has unveiled an Aug. 27 release date for his sophomore album, “Hall of Fame.” The album date was announced in a YouTube video released Saturday evening. The timing coincides with the rapper’s Aug. 31 concert at DTE Energy Music Theatre. Tickets for the show, $20-$75, are on sale now. “Hall of Fame” was originally due out in December but was held back as Big Sean tinkered with the album. It is the follow-up to Sean’s debut album “Finally Famous,” which was released in June 2011 and debuted at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums list. (Detroit News)
