Sean released a statement on President’s Day to detail his new fashion and lifestyle company’s launch.

“Launching my own label is a dream come true for me. Even though I have a lot to learn about fashion and the industry, I do know what I like and the small details that make something stand out to me,” said the 24-year-old. “I look forward to evolving the line with more colors, fabrications, and offerings to show the other dimensions of my style progression over time.” (Statement)

Sean Don will unveil the new business venture at this week’s annual MAGIC fashion show in Las Vegas.

The line boasts sleek patterns and sharp-tailored details with matte black trims and subtle accents of gold. Signature pieces include the Motor City denim jacketand the Detroit drop crotch tailored sweatpant. The line will range from $30 for tees to upwards of $135 for outerwear. The rapper-turned-creative director will introduce Aura Gold’s fashion label Finally Famous and the line’s first fall offering, The Black Collection, at ProjectMVMNT in Las Vegas this week. (Rap-Up)

Buzz behind Sean’s venture made headlines dating back to last summer and early fall.

While we wait for his forthcoming Auragold line, Big Sean’s Finally Famous gear should hold down the BIG believers. With a collection of varsity and denim jackets, crew necks, hoodies and more products that were previewed at the Magic tradeshow showcase in Las Vegas this past summer, Sean seems poised to deliver more than just G.O.O.D. Music this season. Here we have a look at a preview along with his recent collaboration with Mark Ecko for some tanks. (XXL Mag)

A couple years ago, Kanye West raised eyebrows and expectations with his own self-branded fashion line.

“I appreciate everyone’s support for my clothing line but I wanted to clarify a few things…,” he tweeted January 4th, 2012.

“The name of the line is Kanye West not DW… The Dw was a design element placed on the invite in homage to my mom : )”

“I really appreciate the fake DW twitter page but since it’s not official I can’t co sign any information on it.” (Kanye West’s Twitter)
