After teenage pop star Justin Bieber spilled the beans on Kanye West's telephonobia earlier this week, SOHH called up G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean to get the real scoop on his boss' dial-up fears.
According to Sean, Yeezy’s preferred means is via e-mail.
“Strictly e-mail, man,” Sean told SOHH when asked if e-mail was Ye’s primary means of contact. “Strictly through e-mail. But when he’s with somebody, you gotta call the person he’s with. He’s a weird guy like that. Shout-out to Kanye. [laughs] He’s always been accessible, you know, sometimes it’s harder to get into contact with him than other times but he’s always there to the people he loves and his fam, he’s always there.” (SOHH)
Earlier this week, Bieber discussed Ye not being phone-friendly.
“[West] reproduced the ‘Runaway’ joint, and I’m really excited,” Bieber said in an interview. “It was amazing — He’s such a cool guy, and he’s just really laid back and just nice, and at the end of the day, he’s just a nice person…It’s funny, because he doesn’t even use a phone; he just sends e-mail. It’s so crazy. I’m like, ‘How can you not use a phone?'” (MTV)
Last summer, West revealed he did not have a cell phone.

Big Sean’s Finally Famous: The Album is set to drop later this year.
“That can’t be right, because I’m definitely going to work on it right now,” the Detroit native told XXLMag.com yesterday (February 8) referring to a March 2011 release date. “But it is coming out very soon. March is definitely premature. I would say, like, maybe summertime-ish. But we’ll make a big announcement…I’m not gonna say it’s not coming out in March, cause maybe [Def Jam has] some plans, but I, personally, don’t know if it’s coming out in March. But if they say it’s coming out in March, it’s coming out in March. I’m feeling a little bit more summer, but they’re the ones putting it out. I could be wrong.” (XXL Mag)
