G.O.O.D. Music's Big Sean is reportedly back on the dating market after shocking the world by announcing his engagement to television actress Naya Rivera is now off.
The mega rap star issued an open statement to break the big news.
“After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off,” his rep tells Us. “The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter.” (Us Magazine)
His rep also addressed nasty cheating and break-up reports.
The news of their broken engagement follows a Star magazine report which claimed the rapper had cheated on Rivera, leading her to call off the engagement. Debunking these claims, an insider tells Us, “Sean did not cheat on Naya and the allegations are 100% false and untrue.” (Us Magazine)
Although he would not reveal the exact date, Sean recently promised they knew when their big wedding day would go down.
“Appreciate that, the boy’s growing up,” Sean said when congratulated about his engagement. “[Everyone’s into our relationship], yeah, man, that’s crazy. Yeah, that’s a great time though, shout-out to umm – have we set a wedding date? Yeah. Yeah. [Any hints?] Nah, that’s for us to know, you know.” (Rap-Up TV)
Details of their unexpected engagement flooded the Internet in early October.
