G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean reportedly called it quits with pop diva Ariana Grande a few weeks ago over her “immature” ways.
According to reports, issues between Sean and Grande developed back over the winter.
Sources closely connected with them tell TMZ … Sean claims it was him who broke off the relationship because she was “immature.” Sources say the downfall of their relationship started in February, when he made the most important appearance of his career at the House of Blues in West Hollywood. Everyone showed — Kanye, Bieber, JLo, Chris Brown, Jay Z, A$AP Rocky, Tyga, Kylie and Kendall — everyone EXCEPT ARIANA. We’re told she needed to get ready for the Grammy’s the next day, which he found extremely selfish. (TMZ)
Sean and Grande’s representatives came forward this week to announce the unexpected split.
Ariana Grande and Big Sean are breaking free. The fan-favorite couple have split after eight months of dating, their reps confirm exclusively to Us Weekly. “They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends,” their reps tell Us in a joint statement. “We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time.” (Us Magazine)
Reports claimed the split may have happened a few weeks ago.
Insiders close to the two say they very quietly and amicably ended their relationship a few weeks ago. “They made the decision to part ways because their conflicting touring schedules would keep them apart over the next year,” one source tells Us. (Us Magazine)
Sean recently dished on what type of support Ariana gave him when it came to music-making.
“She’s super supportive. It’s cool, because she was a fan of mine before anything. The first thing she said when she met me was, “Yo, I love your music,” and she rapped my verse from “Gang Bang” with Wiz Khalifa. She was just an actress on TV at the time. She’s very open-minded.
