G.O.O.D Music's Big Sean is showing the world he can juggle more than just music in his life, publicly unveiling and confirming speculation of his romance with 26-year-old actress Naya Rivera last night (April 9).
Sean and Rivera made things official after appearing together at Tuesday night’s 42 movie premiere in Hollywood.
Apparently hip-hop and show tunes make a sweet, sweet harmony. It’s official! Rapper Big Sean and Glee star Naya Rivera stepped out for the first time as a couple on Tuesday. The pair marked their public debut by attending the premiere of new film 42 at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. And they make one helluvan attractive couple! With one arm slung around his GF, Sean kept it sharp in an all-black-everything ensemble, while Naya also took the monochromatic note, rocking a gray snakeskin-look slinky dress and white pointed heels. Reports also claim speculation started to build up a few weeks ago when Naya attended Sean’s 25th birthday party.
The “My Last” rapper had fun with his new girlfriend on the carpet and struck a couple of silly poses. The twosome were rumored to be dating late last month, after Rivera attended Big Sean’s surprise birthday party and exchanged a few flirty messages on Twitter, the Daily Mail reports. (Us Magazine)
Rivera has reportedly sparked a strong following of lady fans from her run on Fox’s “Glee.”
The actress kept her game face on for the photogs with smoldering looks and grins but Sean playfully joked by making funny faces and posing behind Rivera. While the sultry Latina has a man on her arm in real life, she’s quite the ladies lady on-screen as her “Glee” character, Santana Lopez, has had a few same-sex run ins with Brittany Pierce and Quinn Fabray. These on-screen romances have undeniably created a lesbian fanbase for Rivera who told “The Late Late Show’s” Craig Ferguson, “I have a lot of lovely ladies who love me, so I’m pretty excited about that.” (New York Daily News)
A couple years ago, Sean told SOHH if he could take any woman on a Valentine’s Day date, it would be Young Money’s Nicki Minaj.
“For Valentine’s Day, I would want to go with Nicki Minaj to my house,” Sean admitted. “I would make dinner. I know how to cook. I cook almost every day. Yeah man, I love cooking. That’s actually one of my passions. I think I’m gonna start a cooking show one of these days. My favorite is pasta. I love making spaghettis and macaroni. So I’d probably do something like that with some asparagus. Something on the side, maybe some chicken. Some weed brownies at the end.” (SOHH)
