OutKast's Big Boi is reportedly not ready to lay down and dish out endless amounts of money to his estranged wife in light of a current child support battle and pending divorce.
According to reports, Daddy Fat Sax believes his soon-to-be former wife should be able to make a respectable enough living to help support their child.
It’s war between Big Boi and his estranged wife — the Outkast rapper does NOT want to shell out endless child support … claiming she’s perfectly capable of supporting herself. As we reported, Big Boi’s wife Sherlita Patton filed for divorce last year … demanding FULL custody of their minor child (they also have an 18-year-old). But Big Boi’s not about to cave — he just filed a response, saying their child would be better off with JOINT physical and legal custody. As for child support — Big Boi says he’s willing to pay whatever the State of Georgia deems appropriate … no more, no less … because Patton’s young, healthy, and well-educated … which means she can support herself. Outside of the martial war, Boi recently addressed rumored OutKast album rumors.
“No, we’re just doing the tour only just for the fans,” Boi said in an interview. “That’s all it is, a tour. I got a solo album I’m working on, but it’s just the OutKast 20-year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate for our fans, but there is no album in the works.” (REVOLT)
