R&B singer Beyonce Knowles' mother recently spoke on her daughter being involved in pregnancy rumors and said she cannot wait until she has her first child with husband/rapper Jay-Z.
Tina Knowles also believes when the time is right, Beyonce will make a wonderful parent.
“Of course I am (ready for her to have a baby). What grandmother isn’t? I can’t wait.” Tina, speaking about the couple attested, “They’re good people and they’re really positive and they’re talented and they’ve had a lot of practice with my grandson; their nephew. So I know they’re going to make great parents. Beyoncé is very caring and patient and loving, so I know she’ll be a great mom.” Nonetheless, the mother of two, Beyoncé and Solange admits that Beyoncé still has to master one thing before assuming motherhood, “Cooking is the one thing she hasn’t gotten into. She hasn’t mastered (it), but I’m sure she’ll be a good cook once she makes up her mind.” (Seer Press)
Earlier this month, Beyonce talked about the media’s attempts to tag her as pregnant.
“At this point, they say that I’ve been pregnant like eight times, so I am kind of used to it,” the 29-year-old singer said in an interview with The Associated Press. “I just hope that one day when I decide to be pregnant that people are happy for me. … One day hopefully I will be. It’s part of being a celebrity, I guess.” (Billboard)
Despite Beyonce’s playful attitude, her Jay-Z recently said he has grown tired of the media’s sensationalism.
Jay-Z has one (final) word (for now) on wife Beyoncé’s possible pregnancy: No. “I really sit back and wonder when people are going to stop,” he said on Howard Stern‘s radio show Monday, when asked about the rumors by the show’s co-host Robin Quivers. “The day that happens, I don’t think Newsday is going to know before my grandmother.” The rapper, who is notorious for keeping mum on his personal life, added, “Everyone knows I’m married, I just don’t discuss it because it’s a part of my life that I’d rather keep private.” (CNN)
Last month, Jay also denied speculation which claimed his wife was carrying their first child.
The “Empire State of Mind” rapper told The Daily Telegraph that there is “no truth” to the gossip that Bey is pregnant. People must really want Jay and Bey to reproduce because this rumor keeps popping up. “They do that every slow news day,” Jay said. “This is like the fifth time. I think we have five kids now.” (S2S Magazine)
