Speculation of a possible hoax emerged online following an interview conducted with an Australian pop culture talk show.
During a recent interview with Australian talk show “Sunday Night HD,” the singer’s burgeoning belly puzzled viewers when it appeared to have collapsed in size as she slowly sat down in her seat. The clip has sparked a frenzy of speculations, ranging from rumors that Beyonce is wearing a prosthetic bump to claims that she is faking the pregnancy entirely. Another explanation for the bizarre sight could be blamed on the material of the singer’s dress. (New York Daily News)
During that interview, it was revealed that Jay and Beyonce are expecting their firstborn in early 2012.
“If it’s any time, right now is the time. I’m so happy,” Beyoncé says of her pregnancy with Australia’s Channel 7 “Sunday Night” show via AOL. In September, the Grammy-winning singer addressed the joys she’s been experiencing while awaiting her firstborn.
“Actually I am having so much fun, it has been the most fun time now that it has been announced and I don’t have to [hide it] … it was really difficult to conceal, but now that I can be proud and excited about it I’m having so much fun shopping — it’s great,” she explained in an interview. “My mother has always told me that beauty comes from within and what’s exciting about being a woman is you can say today I feel like being, today I feel really conservative, today I’m feeling classy, today I am going on a date and I want to just be a showstopper and you know; there is this variety of beautiful clothes that can bring out whatever you feel inside but it comes from here and you should wear your clothes they shouldn’t wear you.” (Selfridges)
