Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé is doing some serious promotion for her recent chart-topping Lemonade album and has gone to the extreme of marketing it in public alongside husband Jay Z this week.

A picture of Queen Bey donning yellow and covering up her mobile phone’s icon with a lemonade sticker has surfaced online.

Beyonce is just one step from strapping on a sandwich board that reads, “Buy my album, please.” Bey and Jay Z took a post-dinner stroll through Midtown NYC Thursday, which doesn’t happen often … making it all look suspiciously promotional. BTW … Bey’s album fell to No. 2 after only one week at the top … toppled by Drake’s “Views” … so Bey’s hustle is very real. (TMZ)

Jay Z’s TIDAL streaming service is rewarding lucky members with Beyoncé tour tickets just for listening to her album next week.

TIDAL is giving members the chance to go to the Formation World Tour! Starting on May 30th, members that stream Beyoncé’s LEMONADE will be entered for a chance to win tickets for shows across the country.

Recent reports claimed Bey’s new album helped spark a surge in TIDAL subscribers.

Tidal said that it gained 1.2 million user sign-ups, including free trials, in the first week that “Lemonade” was available; the service had said in March that it had 3 million users. As for its competitors, Spotify said that it had 30 million paying subscribers globally; Apple Music said it had 13 million. (New York Times)

The rap veteran’s growing streaming platform recently donated $1.5 million to pro-Black organizations and movements like Black Lives Matter.

The announcement was made on the same day that Trayvon Martin would have turned 21 years old. The Trayvon Martin Foundation will get a portion of these funds. Other recipients will include organizations created by families of police brutality victims, such as the Michael O.D. Brown We Love Our Sons and Daughters Foundation and the Oscar Grant Foundation.
