Hours after the Internet celebrated the sudden disappearance of a Madame Tussauds Beyoncé wax figure, the popular museum has revamped and returned the controversial statue.
According to the New York tourist spot, a new and improved Bey figure is now on display.
Update (12:42 p.m.): The statue is back on, according to Madame Tussauds. “We love, respect and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé,” the museum said in a statement. “We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure and she is on display at Madame Tussauds New York. (SPIN)
Hours prior, buzz went viral about the Beyoncé wax figure getting removed.
This week, Tussauds publicly responded to the backlash over the pop icon’s figure.
Madame Tussauds tells TMZ … “Our talented team of sculptors takes every effort to ensure we accurately colour match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted. Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures.” (TMZ)
Earlier in the week, social media lit up Madame Tussauds over its Beyoncé recreation.
