Grammy-winning singer Beyonce Knowles-Carter made headlines earlier this year after becoming a mother for the first time and the 30 year-old has no plans of slowing down by admitting she wants more kids.
Satisfied with her current place in life, Bey said she could see herself having more children.
The 30-year-old singer was beaming as she spoke of her four-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who was back home with husband Jay-Z and mother Tina Knowles. “I have such a full life,” she gushed. “I feel like now I know the reason that I was born.” She wants to add more members to her family, but it probably won’t happen anytime soon. “Of course. “I definitely want to have more,” she said. “I don’t know how many. God knows; I don’t know yet.” If you’re wondering how she got back in shape so quickly, it’s no fluke. “I’ve been working really hard,” said B, who’s been spending time with a trainer. “There are no secrets–discipline.” (Rap-Up)
A few days ago, Bey’s husband/rapper Jay-Z envisioned Blue Ivy Carter hitting her teenage years.
“I imagine I’ll take things I learned from my mom and things I’ve learned from raising my nephews and apply that,” the rapper said in an interview for Oprah’s Master Class: Special Edition. “Then at the end of the day, I just know I’ll probably have the worst-spoiled little kid ever,” he admitted. Jay-Z went on to say that even if he does spoil Blue Ivy, she will probably resent him once she is a teenager. “Everyone imagines they’ll be a great dad until their [kids are] teenagers,” he said. “[Then they say], ‘Get away from me, dad. You’re embarrassing me’.” (Digital Spy)
Last week, the Grammy-winning singer addressed fake pregnancy reports which surrounded them.
But even PEOPLE’s 2012 Most Beautiful Woman was caught off guard when, while pregnant with her first child, whispers started swirling that she and husband Jay-Z had settled on a surrogate to carry their daughter. “That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy,” the songstress, 30, tells PEOPLE. “[I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?'” But perhaps the person most affected by the surrogacy speculation was not the expectant mom herself, but rather her own mother, Tina Knowles. “I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months,” she says. “As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous.” (People)
Around mid-February, the happily married couple unveiled their newborn baby’s photos.
Rapper Jay-Z and wife Beyonce unveiled highly-anticipated pictures of their new baby daughter Blue Ivy Carter on Friday, opting to post intimate family shots on social networking site Tumblr rather than selling them to the highest bidder. The couple posted five photos which show the newborn, already sporting a head of long black hair, being cuddled by her proud parents and capturing intimate moments of family life. (Reuters)
