Grammy-winning singer Beyoncé Knowles-Carter helped bring husband Jay-Z‘s Barclays Center to a close this weekend by coming out and performing a duet with Hov.
Jay and Bey brought fans back to their early “’03 Bonnie & Clyde” days with a live set.
Jay-Z probably regretted inviting his wife onstage when he missed his cue to join in with their duet as he ogled her enviable curves at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn on Saturday. Dressed all in black, the mum-of-one teamed her skin-tight leather trousers with a matching biker jacket as she worked the stage alongside her hubby, who swigged from a champagne bottle as Bey belted out her hit Crazy In Love. The rapper was caught off-guard as he watched his sexy lady strut her stuff on the monitors backstage. (Metro)
Her appearance reportedly threw off Jigga as they also shared an intimate moment on-stage.
He reportedly said: ‘Oh s**t, I should probably rap here,’ before joining her in front of the crowds. Beyonce also performed her song Diva before the pair sung Young Forever. The couple shared a kiss before they exited the stage with Jay-Z giving her a cheeky slap on bum as the Brooklyn crowd cheered on. ‘Of course I had to let BK touch the stage in BK,’ he joked. (Metro)
Last week, Bey attended Jay’s opening Barclays Center weekend concert series.
Jay-Z’s biggest fan was front and center at his show Friday night. Beyonce proudly watched her hubby perform at the grand opening of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The 31-year-old mother to Blue Ivy, 8 months, enjoyed the nearly two hour show from the D’USSE VIP Lounge. She was “front and center,” a source tells Us Weekly . “She went crazy singing and dancing to every song.” (Us Magazine)
In a couple days, Jay is reportedly dropping an EP based on the live shows.
Jay-Z will be releasing an EP of his concert series at the Barclays Center, the rapper announced Saturday afternoon. The album, Live in Brooklyn, will be available through iTunes on Tuesday, October 9th. The “optic EP” will include both audio and visual material recorded at tonight’s final concert of Jay-Z’s eight-night run at the new Brooklyn stadium. The EP is currently available for pre-order on iTunes. While the track listing on the pre-order site is blank, it indicates that the album will include eight tracks and eight separate videos.
