Beans claims he went after Ye’s image because of a prior incident involving the two of them.

“I ain’t talked to Kanye in a while,” Beanie told radio host Star. “A couple years [since we spoke]. Kanye’s cool — I never seen his toes [painted]. I said a couple things about Kanye. I felt some type of way because I helped Kanye get out of a little sticky situation he was in, him and a couple of his boys.” (“Star & Bucwild”)

Over the summer, Sigel released a freestyle to Jay-Z‘s “Haters” and painted Ye as a homosexual.

“Middle finger up to Jay’eeerrr, I don’t give a f*ck about Ye’eerrr,” Sigel raps, “Wanna know, I think Ye Queeer/He dress gayeeeer, I sweearr/I heard he takes it in his reeeearr/You should know by now I don’t caaarrre.” (“Haters” Freestyle)

Earlier this year, Beans said he helped West escape a potential robbery.

In what was supposed to have happened during happier times at the Roc, Beans claimed to have saved Kanye West from being robbed. According to Beanie Sigel, the crew was on tour and some men approached, then-newcomer, Kanye West. They had planned on robbing West, but Beans showed up and changed their plans. Even though Kanye West is a non-confrontational rapper, he would not like information like this being released to the public. Especially when he has built a minor tough-guy image with the beatings that he puts on the paps. (HHVibe)

Around 2007, tension between Sigel and West arose as a result of homosexual accusations.

In an interview with MTV News, Beanie Sigel says he has no beef with Kanye West and Roc-A-Fella Records even asked him to appear on the remix for ‘Ye’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” The supposed conflict between the Broad Street Bully and the Louis Vuitton Don originated when Beans hinted Pharrell and Kanye were “gay” in an interview with QD3.com. Then, last week, footage from an upcoming Smack DVD surfaced with Kanye addressing Beanie’s comments. “I’m not a gangster, but I’m not gay either,” Kanye says in the DVD. “Don’t disrespect me.” (XXL Mag)
