With Grammy-winning singer Rihanna continuing to heat up the Internet with steamy and controversial photos as of late, SOHH recently chopped it up with "Bad Girls Club" reality star Camilla Poindexter for a "naughty" rating.
Rather than scold RiRi, Poindexter admitted she co-signs the 24 year-old’s latest actions.
“I love Rihanna,” Camilla told SOHH. “Honestly, I really do. I just feel like sometimes being a celebrity, the public wants you to automaticaly be a role model and I feel like some people don’t want to be a role model. Some people just want to live their life the way they live it. If she wants to smoke blunts, then let her smoke blunts. Everybody should be able to do what they want to do. It’s about her and no one else. She knows what she’s doing. I like her, I like her little swagger that she’s got. I like the way Rihanna dresses, I like her music and she gets nasty.” (SOHH)
She also said outsiders have to accept RiRi’s decisions, whether right or wrong.
“You look back to when she was kind of innocent and now she’s come out of her shell, Poindexter added. “She always was like that. But then everybody was expecting her to be this good-good girl and now she’s doing what she wants to do and everybody’s like ‘Oh my gosh!’ You know? I mean, be yourself, be you because at the end of the day, nobody’s going to do it for you.” (SOHH)
Over the past few weeks, RiRi has unleashed topless photos on Facebook and caught heat for smoking a blunt at the recent Coachella Music Festival.
Rihanna is still riding on a high while vacationing in Hawaii. After photos of her smoking surfaced over the weekend, the Barbados babe hit up the beach on Monday, once again with a blunt in hand. She strolled alone along the sandy shore in flip-flops and a tight pink cutout dress, blowing a cloud of smoke as she relaxed in the ocean. Although she noticed the paparazzi this time, she didn’t seem to mind, smiling as she continued on her way. (Rap-Up)
West Coast rap veteran Warren G recently talked to SOHH about hooking up with RiRi’s at Coachella.
“I mean, we was just having fun,” Warren told SOHH about the racy photo. “We were just hanging out after the show, you know, just chilling out. That’s it. It wasn’t nothing more than that. We were just having fun and happened to snap a cold picture. I don’t know who blasted it but I seen it and then I blasted it [online]. [laughs] I’m down with RiRi. I am down with RiRi. We’ve met a few times. I actually went to her birthday party and I told her happy birthday. It was a nice little private exclusive birthday party, it was dope. Then I had seen her at a charity event and we actually were supposed to link up and do some work. So hopefully we will get to. If people see this who are connected with Rihanna see this, tell her I’m ready to work. We’re gonna make a song called ‘Party Pooper.’ [laughs]” (SOHH)
