The music mogul said he still had Tyga’s back amid outsiders’ perceptions.

“I don’t know man. But I got respect for Tyga. I always had respect for Tyga. We built something together. Another person we took from nothing to something. It will work itself out. It will work itself out. I’m just not with the Internet sh*t, saying nothing negative. ‘Cause I can’t say nothing negative about Tyga ’cause I got respect for Tyga.” (XXL Mag)

Baby also weighed in on Tyga publicly singling out YMCMB’s Drake and Nicki Minaj.

“I don’t like him saying nothing negative about Drake and Nicki. To me, that sh*t ain’t cool to me. ‘Cause they never did no wrong to him. You understand me? But, he still the little homie and I do anything in the world for him. Nicki and Drake, that’s the family. Whatever side you choose, it is what it is. But I ride with the team. I could say nothing bad about little Tyga. He’s always been a man to me. A young man to me. A young man to the team. This sh*t coming out of left field to me. I don’t understand it, but it is what it is.” (XXL Mag)

In a separate interview, Baby admitted he didn’t know where the feud stemmed from.

“I talk to Drake all the time, he texts me,” Baby said in an interview. “I don’t really know what’s happening with all that. Drake dropped three records – he might drop records spontaneously – I don’t know, Wayne don’t know. … Tyga is the homie. I got nothing but respect for him. … I ain’t built on [beefs]. I don’t like [it]. It’s free marketing.

In a new feature with VIBE magazine, Tyga unloaded on his issues with Drake.

“Yeah, I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki,” Tyga said in his interview. “I don’t like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda’ like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is. But I been friends with Chris [Brown] for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang.” (VIBE)

  1. It used to be that albums by artists doing “well” had to be moved up but now these albums are getting pushed back.

    • Where have you been. Tupac’s All Eyez on Me was supposed to come out at Christmas and had a different name, and it didn’t drop until Valentine’s day. How many times did Snoop’s first album get pushed back. What about Life After Death by B.I.G. They pushed it back so many times, he was dead when it finally came out.

  2. I want drake to jump on the beef shit with tyga!!! Drake spitting the hardcore shit!!! I better find your lovin I better find your heart!!! It remind me of my boi pac hit em up hahahaha

  3. Wanna start a debate,YMCMB v deathrow back in its hay day an am talking bout snoop, DPG and the boy tupac? I know who I’ll be choosing hahhaa

  4. Nothing new for YMCMB, they had issues with the Original Hotboys and Mannie Fresh back in the day.

    • Except Manny is back producing for Wayne’s next album and Juvenile just re-signed to the label. Some of you need to stop believing everything you read. Every rapper, singer, artist thinks their record label cheated them, but then they find out that the whole industry is a certain way, and if you have a label that’s actually letting you make money and try to make hits, which Cash Money does, that might be the best place for you. Everybody isn’t a star, and this Tyga shit is a prime example. He caught feelings because Nicki Minaj and Drake who got their names on the map by getting #1 hits have higher priority than him. He’s talking like Lil Twist is getting release dates before him or something, when he’s always gotten release dates as long as he had a semi hit.
