The “Nothin’ On You” hitmaker hopes his Adventures of Bobby Ray debut steals the show but admitted to being content if awarded any Grammy trophy.

“This is the first time and my first album release,” he told XXLMag.com. “You only have one time to release your first album and for me I would have to say that [I want to win Rap Album of the Year]. But, at the same time, going home with a Grammy–a Grammy is still a Grammy.” (XXL Mag)

Bobby Ray also said he was still pondering over what clothes he should rock to the prestigious gathering.

“There’s a huge plethora in the fashion world to do,” he said, still mulling over his options. “I think whatever it is, it’s definitely gonna be custom made. It could be something Alexander McQueen. I could get G-Starr Raw to make something custom. I don’t know. It just depends if I go more the formal route or the urban route. I might do both.” (XXL Mag)

B.o.B.’s “Airplanes Part II” producer Alex Da Kid spoke to SOHH last week about their collaboration’s nomination.

“It’s super hard to just pick one because they all mean so much to me,” Alex told SOHH when asked what nomination he would most want to win. “Different songs are from different periods of my life. ‘Airplanes’ was the first one I really did that really put me on the map. But getting nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ and ‘Record of the Year’ are probably the biggest ones and ‘Album of the Year,’ of course, so ‘I Love The Way You Lie’ getting those nominations, I would probably pick ‘Record of the Year’ as being the one [I want most.]” (SOHH)

This year’s ceremony is led by Eminem who received the most Grammy nominations.

The rapper also known as Marshall Mathers received 10 total nominations including categories like Album of the Year for his CD Recovery, and Record and Song of the Year for “Love the Way You Lie,” his number one hit with Rihanna. Eminem was also well-represented in the rap categories, receiving additional nominations for Best Rap Song, Best Rap Album, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and more. (WTMA News)

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011 and will broadcast live on CBS at 8PM ET/PT.
