Hip-Hop newcomers Asher Roth and Kid Cudi have announced plans to hit the road together for their first headliner tour called The Great Hangover this summer.

The rap duo will also be joined alongside other hip-hop acts.

Roth and Cudi are setting off on their first headlining tour this summer. The two Universal Motown artists will hit 19 cities around the U.S. as part of “the Great Hangover Tour” with support from B.O.B., an Atlanta-based rapper. Fellow Universal Motown group Pac Div will be on the bill for 11 of the dates, and the other eight will be treated to additional support from 88-Keys. (Billboard)

Dates and venues for the tour have been announced and the cross-country run will conclude around late summer.

The tour begins July 14 in at Boston, Massachussetts’ House of Blues and ends August 5 at Washington, DC’s 9:30 club. Cities include New York, Mariaville (New York), Cleveland, Detroit, Kansas City, Denver, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Norfolk and Baltimore. Both emcees recently performed at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey last month.

The festival will be returning once again to Giants Stadium on May 2nd and May 3rd, with one of its strongest lineups to date. Fall Out Boy, No Doubt, Third Eye Blind, Asher Roth, New Found Glory, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station, We the Kings, Kid Cudi, All Time Low, Taking Back Sunday, Rise Against, The Used, Sum 41 and Demi Lovato are just a handful of the 100 plus bands performing at the weekend long event. They are also set to perform at The Roots‘ Picnic festival this weekend in Philadelphia.

TV On The Radio, Public Enemy, the Black Keys and Santigold are among the acts handpicked by The Roots to play the band’s second annual hometown “Roots Picnic” on June 6 at Festival Pier in Philadelphia. Public Enemy will perform the classic album “It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back” in its entirety backed by The Roots and Brooklyn-based Afrobeat band Antibalas. The Roots will also play two sets, opening and closing the festivities. The Roots Picnic runs from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. (Press Release)
