Foxy Brown will stand trial in July for an alleged assault on two nail salon employees.
As SOHH previously reported, Foxy (born Inga Marchand) is charged with assaulting two employees of Manhattan's Bloomie Nails in Chelsea in an August 2004 fight over payment for a manicure.
The 27-year-old rapper was initially charged with misdemeanor assault, attempted assault and harassment. She has already turned down two misdemeanor plea deals that would have allowed her to avoid jail time.
Foxy made a court appearance today (May 26) at a Manhattan Criminal Court where Judge Gerald Harris set a hearing and trial date for July 17, and extended orders of protection for the nail salon workers.
Foxy has vehemently denied the manicurists allegations.
