In this week's Pulse Report the streets are buzzing about T.I. putting Shawty Lo in his place, Damon Dash riding for Jim Jones and Barack Obama, TVT Records being delinquent on the stacks they owe the industry and Papoose penning Remy Ma a love song.

1. Be Easy Shawty. Lookout world T.I. and Tip are at it again. The dueling alter ego's of Clifford Harris made some very noteworthy appearances this week. In his first televised interview, the King of the South had a poignant sit-down with BET personality Toure.
Meanwhile Tip engaged in his first public beef since getting out from full-time house arrest.
Here's a quick rundown of the BET interview.
When asked why someone at the top of his game would risk it all, T.I. was very remorseful in his response.
"At first there was a great deal of disgust, you know with myself," T.I. said. "There was a great deal of betrayal that I felt. Regret. And you know I just kinda felt like I had done all this work, came as far as I had and done something so unbelievably stupid, exercised such poor judgment, that I put myself in a position that I was jeopardizing everything that I ever worked for." [Watch here]
When asked why he felt the need to collect cache of weaponry large enough to arm a mini militia, T.I. said that it was fear for his and his family's safety.
"You can't assume everyone out there likes you, so it's easy to get caught up in paranoia."
Which brings us to the issue on Tip's plate - Shawty Lo. The pint-size Atlanta rapper has been taken his shots at Tip for not acknowledging him as true Bankhead representative. On his song "Dunn Dunn" Shawty took some shots at T.I.. So the King hit back on Atlanta radio station 92Q. [Listen here]
"Come on dog," T.I. said. "Who are you for real to be acknowledging like that? Get in the game first."
Then Shawty Lo shot back on DJ Kay Slay's radio show, saying T.I was not a real Bankhead dude. [Listen here]
Memo to Shawty Lo,
Dog, I'm really disappointed in you. To think that you've come this far with your lil' single "Dey Know" and now you want to do something so unbelievably stupid-going at T.I. like that. You've exercised such poor judgment. You've put yourself in a position that has jeopardizing everything that you ever worked for. That's too bad. Now you're about to get-get-get it.
2. A True Rider. The incomparable Dame Dash has been far removed from the rap game since his very public split with Roc-A-Fella business partner Jay-Z. But that doesn't mean the wily music vet can't still finger a good thing when he hears it. Hot 97 radio personality Peter Rosenberg recently caught up with Dash and the entertainment mogul dubbed Jim Jones' next album a classic and put his political support fully behind Barack Obama. [Watch here]
On Jim Jones: "Through his practice and his relentless assault on making music, a record every day, he actually got pretty good," Dame said. "So his new album, I think he might have come up with a classic, and that's me saying that."
On Barack Obama: "The Clintons are relentless, you know," he explained. "I just wish that they weren't so selfish about things. If he's going to win don't get him too bruised up so we can beat these Republicans."
"This is a perfect example why it might not be advantageous for the country for them to be in that position," he continued. "A real boss is more worried about his company, a real father is more worried about his family, a real president is worried about their country. I think Obama is more concerned about the welfare of people as opposed to himself."
Dame makes a real strong point on the Obama thing. I'm not too sure on the Jimmy thing. Even though Dame was (and might still be) a major dickhead, I miss having the dude in the game. I was at the "Heart Of The City" concert this week and when Jay performed "H To The Izzo" I really wanted to see Dame out there doing his dance and pouring Armadale on the crowd. The good ole days! 3. Debt To Society. The financial woes of struggling indie label TVT Records just got worse. Hyperbot.com posted court documents that show a list of clients the bankrupt label owes money to. [See if they owe you here]
Some notable names on the list are:
Usher - $100,000 (Probably for that "Lovers & Friends" record)
BET - $116,000 (Come on fellas, you at least gotta pay your payola bill.)
HBO - $3,000 (Damn, ma'f*ckers wasn't paying they cable bill?)
SOHH - $5,000 (If it's not too much to ask, can we have our stacks in ones.)
4. Now Hear This. You can't deny the support that Foxy Brown has been receiving since she came home from jail. She even scored the cover of Jet magazine. But she's got one less supporter, after her lawyer Fred Haddad dumped her in court this week.
The Brooklyn emcee appeared in a Florida court room to stand trial on a prior misdemeanor battery charge. Claiming "irreconcilable differences" with his client, Haddad removed himself as counsel. And when the judge tried to get to the bottom of the situation, Fox had a little problem hearing him. Haddad had to make it clear for Foxy. [Watch here]
LOL. Damn, he barked on her.
5. Is This Love? Papoose decided to write a love song for his locked up lady Remy Ma. The Brooklyn rapper might be feeling a little lovesick, especially after hearing her voice when she called in Shade 45 radio station to tell fans she was doing okay in jail.
Spitting over a sample of the Debarge classic "I Like" Pap dropped a thug-loving dud. [Listen Here]
SMH. If that's his confession of love to Remy, she's going to dyking it out in the pen in no time. Ugh.
Aurevoir sal cons! Fucque forever!
