With the release of their sophomore album Welcome To The Dollhouse and lead single "Damaged," the ladies of Danity Kane have hooked up with Twelve24Girl.com to give fans tips on how to handle themselves in various sticky situations.
The platinum-selling group has partnered with Twelve24Girl.com - a sister site to SOHH aimed at young women ages 12 to 24 - to give young ladies advice on how to adapt to and properly handle a wide array of situations from last-minute fashion etiquitte to backstabbing friends.
The group felt that it was important to reach out to their young female fans and try to share with them their collective knowledge and experience.
"We are thrilled to take part in this opportunity with Twelve24Girl.com as it gives us a chance to interact with our fans on such an intimate level on more topics than just music," Danity Kane said. "This is the ideal platform for us to share our personal experiences and advice as we will have the ability to influence and reach out to girls of all ages."
Danity Kane will address the varying subjects in a series of twelve video blog entries, which will be updated daily on the site. [Watch "Damaged" Control here]
With a large number of young women turning to the internet for a large portion of their information, SOHH CEO Felicia Palmer hopes that young women of all backgrounds will be able to benefit from the life lessons.
"Danity Kane is a perfect representation of the 'Twelve 24 Girl' and 'Damaged' Control is a way to speak directly to the concerns of young women in a fun and light-hearted way," says Palmer. "The concerns of this growing community are always changing and with five ladies of Danity Kane sharing their thoughts and experiences, our audience is bound to relate to them in some way."
Welcome To The Dollhouse is in stores now on Bad Boy Records.
