Hip-hop couple Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa recently talked about having a baby on the way and who came up with their son's name.
According to Khalifa, he has finished touring and is sticking around Rose’s side in light of her upcoming due date.
“I’m really staying around because it’s an important time for Amber,” Wiz said in an interview. “She needs the support — we’ve had the [baby’s] name for a long time. She actually came up with it.” (“Big Boy’s Neighborhood”)
Rose provided a few hints but would not spill the beans on their son’s name.
“Five more weeks to go, I’m due in five weeks,” Rose revealed. ” It’s not really a common name. It’s a normal name, it’s just not common. It’s not common. … We had the girl’s name already, we’re not going to say that either because we might have a girl next. It’s funny because I came up with the name for our boy and immediately he came up with a rapper name for him. … It has to be a surprise. It’s a total boss name for a boy. ” (“Big Boy’s Neighborhood”)
A couple weeks ago, Wiz denied rumors about them recently tying the knot.
Amber Rose got a little ahead of herself when she referred to Wiz Khalifa as “my husband” the other day … ’cause according to Wiz, they’re not exactly married … yet. Wiz and Amber were leaving the Bel Bambini baby store in L.A. yesterday (’cause Amber’s expected to give birth any day now) … and the rapper told us Amber’s “hubby” comment was sort of a joke. “We’ve always called each other husband and wife since day one,” Wiz told us … adding, “We’ve always been husband and wife.” Still, Wiz says the two are still planning on heading down the aisle in the near future … but the actual date is still a secret. Back in October, Khalifa said he hoped they would wed before Rose gave birth.
“Nah, there’s no date set yet. But we’ll probably get licensed and married before the baby’s born, and do a wedding afterwards because it makes more sense for the baby to be in the wedding than for her to be pregnant. Some people, they rush and do it. But, it works both ways.” (XXL Mag)
