Video vixen Amber Rose has blasted radio personality Funkmaster Flex after public remarks he made about her in an interview earlier this week with ex-boyfriend/rapper Kanye West.
Writing on Twitter, Rose questioned Flex’s remarks and his image of her.
“It really hurts my feelings that @Funkmasterflex feels that way about me he was one of my favorite DJ’s :-(,” she tweeted this week.
“Baby @THEREALDJCLUE you know ur my #1!!!! :-)”
“One question @funkmasterflex how am I a hoe when I was in a RELATIONSHIP for 2 years with a man that I loved???”
“Someone gave u ur start at hot 97 right??? @funkmasterflexdid u hire yourself? No u didn’t. Life is a blessing this was handed to me!”
“I have opportunities @funkmasterflex to do great things and help ppl why would u hate on that? Because Kanye helped me?”

In Flex’s interview with West this week, the radio veteran playfully joked about their break-up.
“She seems like she’s not smooth my brother,” Flex told West. “I mean, [laughs], you know, she’s on Twitter and she seems like she’s unhappy, that’s what I get from her. The movie dropped and then she said she’s coming out with a reality show, there’s always like, it’s like with you coming in is a counter statement from her. Do you feel like she’s, I don’t want to say unhappy, there’s definitely a, no closure to her for some reason. I don’t know if you feel what I feel…” (Hot 97)
West explained his break-up to Flex and said his connection with Rose was spontaneous.
“She definitely was an inspiration for me… You have to realize in my situation with the ups and downs that I’ve been through, the losses, the ups, just everything, sometimes you make decisions like, ‘I’ma just do this one right here. I’m try this one.’ It’s proper rock star sh*t! Sometimes people get married in a week.” (Hot 97)
In August, West talked with radio host Angie Martinez about his two-year run with Rose.
“Yeah man, it was an amazing time and it came to an end,” West said. “One of the greatest things that she showed me was just to be a nicer person because she was so disconnected from the concept of celebrity when I first met her…A celebrity could be talking to people crazy and everyone’s used to it at the label like, ‘He’s wildin’ out. It doesn’t matter.’ [Amber] be like, ‘What?! You just talked to your fans so crazy right now. I’m not even talking to you right now.’ … I grew from that. I think that was the greatest growth that I got from that experience.” (Hot 97)
