Video vixen Amber Rose has finally cleared up speculation behind her and boyfriend Wiz Khalifa allegedly getting hitched over the summer and explained why marriage is not in their immediate future.
Rose said the fact they are so early into their careers makes wedding bells seem too premature.
“Yeah, totally. We’re totally going to get married. But no, we’re not engaged,” Rose promised in an interview. “He’s overseas right now on his European tour and I’m out here working in the studio. We definitely don’t want to get married and be away from each other. We want to establish each other to the point, where we can get married and take a couple of months off to really just enjoy our time together and have some babies.” (XXL Mag)
In early September, Wiz and Rose’s maritial status was closely examined.
After photos surfaced of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose slow-dancing in Vegas last week, the ‘net wondered and whispered whether the couple had tied the knot. Not. A reliable source tells Billboard.com’s The Juice that Wiz and Amber “were simply celebrating Wiz’s birthday with close family and friends in Vegas.” The happy couple flew to Vegas to celebrate Wiz’s 24th birthday with close ones and did not get married. Speculation on if the love birds’ had secretly married emerged online in early September.
Maybe so. The touchy-feely pair were snapped in the midst of what looks to be a newlyweds first dance. With Amber’s non-stop wife-talk and Wiz’s spontaneity we really wouldn’t be too surprised if these crazy kids really did walk down a Vegas aisle. Time (and tweets) will tell. (VIBE)
In August, Rose revealed although marriage is imminent, they are both focused on their careers.
“We discuss it all the time; like he said, we’re very much in love,” Rose told MTV News while standing next to her “Black and Yellow” rapper beau on the VMA Pre-Show black carpet. “But, ya know, we’re just going to take our time and just enjoy each other right now. We’re both really busy and we work really hard and when the time comes, it’s gonna come.” (MTV)
