West Coast rapper Game has acknowledged his past and present insults hurled toward model Amber Rose, suggesting that the multiple jabs may have ruined the probability of future collaborations with her ex-boyfriend/rapper, Kanye West.
Game said he has reached out to Ye on numerous occasions but been met with little return.
“I dunno, I think I dissed Amber Rose while she was with [Kanye] and I think that kinda tainted our relationship a little bit,” Game told Sway on Wednesday’s “RapFix Live”after he was asked when he’d be working with Yeezy again. “I reached out to Kanye at the beginning of the album and I seen him in L.A. He said he was gonna give me some beats, but he never did,” the Compton MC said. “I didn’t take it personal, I got nothing but love for ‘Ye and the things that we did in the past.” (MTV)
On his new “Uncle Otis” track, Game name drops the shorn bombshell.
“Yesterday I went to/Coachella, not to see Jigga/I went to see Wiz dance with Amber: perfect/I took a seat on the red futon/Hit it with that weird sh*t on – whatever/So put that p*ssy on my face/And let me taste a little taste/I’mma eat it up like it’s my last/I’mma do it different sh*t, getting no cash/You know why? In 2009, while Rose and Ye were still together, Game called her out on his “I’m So Wavy” diss record.
“That’s Ye’s brother so I’ma give him some advice, get rid of Amber Rose/I know how she get down, I was at Diddy’s after party/Sippin’ on the Cris, she was whispering to Chris Brown/Then Chris turned his head like ‘No’/Then ‘Gold Digger’ came on, I pointed out like ‘H*e’/And this ain’t about her, this about Hov/I’m about to drop down the Roc and take it to the stove.” (“I’m So Wavy”)
Last August, Yeezy officially confirmed his separation from Rose.
“Yeah man, it was an amazing time and it came to an end,” West said. “One of the greatest things that she showed me was just to be a nicer person because she was so disconnected from the concept of celebrity when I first met her…A celebrity could be talking to people crazy and everyone’s used to it at the label like, ‘He’s wildin’ out. It doesn’t matter.’ [Amber] be like, ‘What?! You just talked to your fans so crazy right now. I’m not even talking to you right now.’ … I grew from that. I think that was the greatest growth that I got from that experience…My goal in life is to really have an amazing woman and have a family, but I think I had to go through these different things to grow…That was a one-off…I’m not trying to dive into anything unless I really, really think that I can marry this person. I look at this person and I say, ‘This is how I want my daughter to be.'” (Hot 97)
