Days after Wiz Khalifa gushed over his relationship with Amber Rose, the model has opened up about what qualities and characteristics won her over.
Admitting she was unaware of Khalifa’s music prior to hooking up, Rose said she fell for the rapper’s humorous and laid back personality.
“He’s really funny, really charming,” Rose told hip-hop personality Sway during an interview. “He’s really charming, really funny. I didn’t know much about his music at first and obviously he became a good friend. I started listening to his music and we became really close. He’s awesome, he’s talented, he’s amazing.” (RapFix)
A day prior, Wiz promised his relationship with Rose was more deeper than a casual fling.
“It’s pretty serious. I really, really dig her,” Wiz told radio personality Angie Martinez Wednesday (March 30). “People think it’s an image thing and that we’re just doing it to be crazy, but like, for real, for real, it’s just two great people meeting at a good time. We just like to crack jokes and stuff like that. She’s very down to earth, she’s very realistic, and that’s the way that I am. Just seeing stuff for what it is and not being blinded by the lights…I’ma be with her. That’s why we wanted to give it to the world. But it’s realistic. It’s nothing that we’re just beefing up or just doing for anybody’s eyes. It’s real. She’s a great girl. I really, really am into her…I’m the kind of guy who knows when I’m winning, no Charlie Sheen intended. When you won, you don’t gotta keep trying to do stuff that’s gonna mess it up.” (Hot 97)
Last week, Rose addressed critics speculating the numerous celebrity entertainers she has slept with.
“Morning Twit Fam, [I] didn’t really wake up in a good mood today. I’m just so sick of being ridiculed. [People] assuming things without knowing. I’m super nice to everyone I meet. I’m a very caring compassionate person. I don’t deserve to be talked about so negatively. I really hate explaining myself that’s why I stay so quiet but I will say this….. I was with my ex for 2 years and now I have a new Love. [Two People] that’s it. If that makes me a whore then so be it. For FADER Issue #72 we traveled to Los Angeles and spent the better part of a week with Wiz Khalifa. After, we emerged from a cloud of one-billion joints with a story about what it means to become famous now, and a lot of incredible images. Relatively new FADER photographer Ross Mantle shot Wiz in the center of a music video shoot and documented some of the first days of his relationship with Amber Rose. Mantle said, “He’s pretty down to earth. I don’t know if he’s going to get a head about him later on, but he has a bit of a young ego. I think to be in the position he’s in you have to have something like that to begin with.” (The FADER)
