Vixen Amber Rose is making headlines this week after being approached by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) during a New York book signing.
Footage of PETA protesters rolling up on Rose have emerged across social media.
In the video an activist approaches Rose with an open copy of her book and asks “Amber Rose, I want to know why you still promote the fur industry?” Rose doesn’t reply, closes the book and smiles. “50 million animals a year skinned alive in America,” the activist replies. A group of PETA activists holding anti-fur messages begin to chant “Amber Rose promotes torture and death.” (Daily Mail)

Reports claim the PETA protesters were forced out of the event by security.
Both activists were escorted out by security. PETA is a nonprofit corporation with 300 employees, it claims that it has 3 million members and supporters and is the largest animal rights group in the world. Its slogan is “animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way.” Rose has yet to comment about the incident. (The Jasmine BRAND)

Before host Andy Cohen could even finish his first question (“Rank these Kardashian-Jenners from least to most interesting”), she cut him off: “Plead the fifth. I’m not doing it.” As the rules of the game state, one may only plead the fifth on one out of three questions. At her final refusal, Cohen congratulated Rose on “doing the worst job on Plead the Fifth and not answering any of the questions.” (Entertainment Weekly)
Within a new GQ magazine feature, Rose acknowledged her ties to publicized hip-hop stars including ex-husband Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West.
“It’s a fair point,” she admits. “I get it. But now that you’re here, we’re gonna really talk about slut shaming. I really want you guys to sit down and think about the act that your mother had to do with your father in order to have you. Really, fully understand that your mother is a sexual being. 1. my personal opinion, but there’s kids being killed, starved, sold for slavery, etc. all over the world, yet PETA wants to save a whale
2. violence is committing against people all over, especially women, yet PETA is more worried about violence commited against animals
3. PETA is so out there that they keep it secret that they basically want to illiminate pets too, no dogs, cats or gold fish… where would Arnold from Different Strokes be without Abraham swimming around his fish bowl every episode…
4. They throw pig blood on women wearing fur coats, most these women are rich, that coat can’t be cleaned so what do you think those women do, go purchase another fur coat. No one says “you know what, that blood running down my face just made me realize how wrong a am”

PETA is not the biggest group of idiots. The average PETA worker or volunteer actually cares about animals and their welfare. Unfortunately PETA the organization is full of corrupt individuals That care only about themselves. A lot of these PETA activist don’t realize how PETA operates but when they do they leave. Those people who approached Rose probably had the right intentions….unfortunately the align themselves with PETA. So please don’t categorize the whole because of the few. I work with some independent animal activist in NY and I always try to educate those who are with PETA. Unfortunately it doesn’t always work.

There are many things in this world that are wrong. Period. You sitting here stating them doesn’t help change that fact. Now I never said PETA was not guilty of corruption. Reread my comment. There are people who are misguided by PETA. You can’t blame or insult those whose heart is into helping animals. Animals can’t speak for themselves. They need us to help them. People mistreat animals for either profit or enjoyment. I mean how fucked up is that? Forcing a creature who can’t defend itself? Have you ever seen the way a dog fight really goes down? It isn’t pretty. Have you ever seen how some of these pet stores treat their animals? Look around the net for Petco you’ll find some disturbing shit. The world has people fighting for it’s survival. There are many organizations that claim to help homeless and abused women ect that are just as if not more corrupted the PETA. As far as racism come on man that starts with us as people. If you depend on someone else to stop racism then theres a real problem with you. Violence in Africa? You can say what you want about me but I think we need to worry about violence at home first. How can we help any other country if we can’t help ourselves?

Nothing will be fixed for human or animals til priorities are where they should be. As for my goldfish, PETA is anti-pets, NO PETS eventually. Thing about it, they want all dogs spade and neutered, no breeders and everyone just adopt. What do you think happens to all those dogs when they eventually die, no more dogs. LOL Look I know people who use to work for PETA so I don’t need to “read” anything and the whole dogs and cats spayed or neutered has been around since forever. Shit even Bob Barker use to sign off from the Price Is Right by saying it. Its because people mate their animals for inappropriate reasons. Like to make money or put them to fight. You have no idea how many times I have seen stray dogs wandering the hood with no leash, just abandoned. How many time I have been bitten trying to help them or how much food and money I’ve spent while trying to cook them to my house till animal services comes to get them. Thats why spaying or neutering your animal is so important. So many people want animals then realize the responsibility that comes with animals and they just abandon them. I think you have a real anger towards PETA and I don’t know….or care what it is. I personally have given time to rally march and fight for AIDS, police brutality and animal rights have been one of my most passionate. And I’m telling you I have met some good people who unfortunately believe in PETA. I have had long and lengthy debts with them but to each their own. I really think your hate and anger blinds you to a lot because AGAIN I never defended PETA I just think your wrong for labeling every person who works for PETA as an idiot or whatever. Your talking priorities? Dude AGAIN there are so many organizations that claim to help all aspects like abuse, AIDS, child neglect and they are corrupt but for some reason you seem like one of those people who are angry but have done nothing but complain. protesters were from PETA, but whoever it was … good for them! In this day and
age, when there are so many animal-friendly choices available, why would anyone
