Grammy-winning couple Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz have dismissed the rumors abuzz claiming a secret love affair is pulling Swizzy away from his wife.
Via Twitter, both artists were able to see the humor in the gossip.
Both Alicia and Swizz took to their Twitter to respond to gossip and laugh of allegations of marital issues. Alicia tweeted, “Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! Some things are just LAUGHABLE!!!!!! Now, Let’s Continue to SHINE!! Everything else is a waste of time!! Sending love!” Her Reebok rocking hubby then tweeted, “Wow people sure do take things far with the BS Lmao!” The couple also made it loud and clear they’re very happy, recently attending an Alexander Wang show together during Fashion Week. Speculation of an affair on Swizz’ part emerged online this week.
Swizz Beatz was all boo’d up with wife Alicia Keys for Fashion Week, but we asked y’all if they looked like a “happily married couple” because we really had to wonder after receiving some screenshots of BBM convos he’s been having with another woman. In the conversations, Swizz and the young lady have exchanged multiple photos and discussed plans to fly her out to his gigs in other cities. In one message Swizz states explicitly that he’d like to “f**k the sh*t out of her.” (Bossip)
Additonal reports claimed the mystery woman is a singer named Christina Elizabeth.
An “insider” claims that the ‘Haute Living’ creator has been exchanging “salacious texts” and scandalous photos with a 23-year-old named Christina Elizabeth, whom he has offered to fly out for his tour dates and “f— the s— out of asap.” Swizz and his new PYT reportedly met in 2007, at a birthday party for Solange Knowles, and have remained in touch since. If there is any truth to the rumors, it should come as no surprise to Alicia, or Swizz’s ex, Mashonda, with whom he was still married when he reportedly struck up an affair with the ‘Fallin” singer. After marrying Keys last summer, Swizzy later opened up about his deep affection for the singer/actress/philanthropist.
“It’s just a feeling,” Swizz said about falling in love with Keys. “Love is a word that’s powerful but the feeling is even stronger…To identify that feeling is something that’s amazing because it doesn’t only come from your partner. It comes from your love for music, your love for people, your love for a lot of things, and I think that once you identify the feeling of love, you’ll be a better person. I’m a better man. I think that having love in your life, it just has that effect. Because then you spread love. You can’t enjoy love without spreading love. I just think that it all falls in the pocket.” (MTV)
