According to reports, diehard Ave fans can look for him to appear in an upcoming Sean John clothing line campaign.

Hovain Hylton, Ave’s manager and partner in BSB Records, made the announcement with MTV News when we visited the set of Troy’s “Your Style” video on May 1. Ave made the news public on Friday (May 23) when he posted a 15-second video onto his Instagram account. According to the BSB team, Troy’s campaign will begin in June and run into 2015. As a result, the rapper will appear in television and print advertisements, and in addition will see his face on a number of billboards put up in his native Brooklyn. (MTV)

Recently, G-Unit leader 50 Cent suggested Troy Ave relied on his estranged group members to build a buzz.

“They actually like [Troy Ave’s] hype men now,” 50 said to New York’s Hot 97 of Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks. He was referencing appearances on Troy’s “Show Me Love” and “Your Style,” respectively. “That’s not a shot. They’re there as the supporting cast.” Despite those words, Fif still made it seem like he’s just an elder who wants the best for and out of those he’s watched grow. “They’re like my little brothers,” he added. “I’d like for them to work to sustain their interests in the public.” (MTV)

Curtis Jackson also suggested his influence may be found in Troy’s music.

When it came to Troy Ave, about whom the Queens rapper has been asked plenty in recent weeks, Fif played both sides. “I like the idea of Troy Ave,” he said. “I would want it to work. Just because I want something to happen in the city, period. But in reality I hear a lot of me in Troy Ave.” (MTV)

Earlier this year, Yayo and the fellow New York native dropped their “Show Me Love” music video.

“You can find me in the club, bottle full of bub,” Troy Ave raps on “Show Me Love.” The Brooklyn rapper heads inside the club for the track’s visuals, where he finds more than enough of bubbly to keep the night going. Tony Yayo also shows up for a swig from one of 100 bottles, the VIP service and as girls start getting freaky with each other in the dim light. Can you feel the love yet? (VIBE)
