Days after R&B diva Rihanna's presence forced a New York nightclub to reportedly keep model Karrueche Tran from entering, the 25-year-old hottie appears to have fired back.
Tran unleashed a steamy photo of RiRi’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown laying a kiss onto her Wednesday (December 25) via Instagram.
Sorry Rihanna. In case there was any doubt that Karrueche Tran was back together with on-again off-again boyfriend Chris Brown, the model has proved she and Breezy are definitely solid. She posted a photo to her Instagram Wednesday night of Brown gently kissing her cheek while she confidently does duck lips for the camera. The 25-year-old captioned the pic “Merry Christmas from us. Tran is standing by her man as he completes 90 days of court-orderd anger management rehab and drug testing stemming from violating his probation in the 2009 Rihanna beating case. (RumorFix)
According to reports, Manhattan hot spot Pink Elephant would not allow Tran to enter because of Rihanna earlier this month.
Is there still tension between Chris Brown’s exes, Rihanna and Karrueche Tran? Spies said Tran didn’t make it past Pink Elephant’s velvet rope last week, because, her rep explained: “she was told she could [not] attend said club, because Rihanna was inside. [She] decided to go elsewhere.” A rep for Roee Nahmani’s hot spot added, “She wasn’t let in as a courtesy to Rihanna. To keep the peace, they decided it was in everybody’s best interest if they weren’t on the dance floor at the same time.” (New York Post)
Earlier this year, Karrueche spoke on the publicized tensions between herself and RiRi.
“For everybody, emotionally, that would just be way too much,” she said. “I’m a very mature person so if the time ever did come where we would need to sit down and talk, I’d do it. I’m a mature person. I can work it out but that would be a lot. (Pause) Yeah, it would be a lot.” (VIBE)
Back in May, Brown blamed his own busy schedule and age as the motivation behind breaking up with the famous singer.
Those who wondered if something was up with Chris Brown and Rihanna after she was unable to join him on his May 5 birthday might have been right! In a new interview with the Australian radio station 2DayFM, Chris admitted that he was split from RiRi and flying solo. “I’mma do it solo,” Chris told the Aussie DJ. The R&B singer seems to intimate that his and Rihanna’s schedules unfortunately got in the way of their relationship, and that her inability to make it to his birthday celebrations may have been a factor too: “I mean, at the end of the day, shawty doing her own thing, she on the road. It’s always gonna be love. I’m a grown man, just gotta move forward.” Though Chris said he is “always gonna love” Rihanna, he talked about how he’s more focused on himself right now. “People have differences and people have different wants and needs,” he says. “At the end of the day she’s a young girl. I can’t be focused on wife-ing somebody that young… and I’m young too.” (Hollywood Life)
