G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T recently gave his thoughts on Cash Money head honcho Birdman and his perceived business manners.

In Pusha’s perspective, Birdman is misusing his power as the Cash Money boss.

“If you steal something, that’s just corny. If you steal something and you steal it contractually, that’s like the lowest form of a thief. It’s like a cat burglar. It’s not even respectable in no way, shape, or form. I ain’t respected Baby for a long time no way, so it don’t matter.” (Report Card Radio)

Recently, rap star Rick Ross talked about his disgust with how Baby treated Cash Money veteran Lil Wayne.

“Weezy’s my homie. I was just with Weezy the other night at the club — I don’t have one with Birdman,” Ross said when asked if he still has a relationship with the Cash Money CEO. “If you read The Source Magazine you would see right now, and really me seeing Wayne going through as an artist, him being a boss, me idolizing Birdman at a time, looking up to Lil Wayne being the first artist to make so many feats. Not just as an artist but as an artist coming from the South. That’s something that I took personal. So for me to see the way things are transpiring, I can’t respect that and I don’t respect that.” (“The Breakfast Club”)

Ross also talked about MMG setting a standard and not mistreating his artists.

“That ain’t the way the game built to be on and I ain’t with it,” Ross added referring to Lil Wayne’s publicized Cash Money issues. “And I ain’t nobody you could play with, you dig? In times like that, there’s only one thing you can go to and we go to that well and that’s ‘G’ talk right there. … I set examples, that’s what I do with my team so whenever you see Rozay speak highly of his team, if you a ‘G’ or you’re a boss, respect that because that’s what you want your ‘G’ or your big homie to do and that’s what I do. We don’t allow dudes to come into camps, just what transpired [with Cash Money.]” (“The Breakfast Club”)

In his two-part interview, Birdman admitted he had no issues with Lil Wayne earlier this year.

“I think media makes it worst than it really is,” Birdman said after revealing he still keeps in contact with Wayne. “We don’t scream at each other, I’m a man. … That’s my son, I respect him as my son. There’s no day where he’s speaking to me in a disrespectful manner. I don’t come from that cloth and I’m not going to speak to him in that cloth. That’s why I say he’s a man. He’s 30-plus. I swear on my kids – I’ll give them anything they think they might want. Cars. Jewelry. Houses. … I’m not going to let him go [off Cash Money] but if he wants to go, I’m going to respect his call. If he says he wants to go, I’m not going to stand in his way.” (Power 105.1)
