According to reports, Ye will start the tour again next week in Philadelphia.

After numerous woes forced Kanye West to shift the itinerary of his Yeezus tour, the elaborate production is back on track, a rep for the rapper announced Wednesday. West will resume his tour on Nov. 16 in Philadelphia. Last week, West moved his Nov. 1 gig at the Honda Center in Anaheim to Dec. 13, citing “production logistics.” And in more bad luck, the truck carrying the set’s custom-made video truss and a 60-foot circular LED screen was in an accident on the way to Vancouver, Canada, forcing the rapper to postpone the show for a second time as the damaged gear was repaired. The news comes after Ye nixed shows in Chicago a few days ago and had them rescheduled.

Kanye West has postponed both “Yeezus” tour dates in Chicago for this week. The shows were scheduled for November 7 and November 9, respectively. Just last week Kanye West had to postpone shows in Vancouver, B.C., Anaheim, Denver and Minneapolis due to a truck crash that resulted in the irreparable damage of a 60-ft circular LED screen that was used as part of his stage design. Last week, Def Jam issued a statement and said Mr. West had postponed his tour due to a truck accident.

A custom-made video truss and 60-foot circular LED screen were damaged “beyond repair” when a tour truck wrecked on the road from Los Angeles to Vancouver, British Columbia, where West was scheduled to perform Thursday night, Gabe Tesoriero said. “This gear is central to the staging of ‘The Yeezus Tour’ and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA,” Tesoriero said. It is “impossible” for West to perform “until these essential pieces can be re-engineered and prefabricated,” he said. (CNN)

Although disappointed in not getting to perform at the cancelled shows, Yeezus tour entertainer Kendrick Lamar recently revealed he used the spare time to record new music.

“I was looking forward to them cities man,” Kendrick told MTV News on Saturday backstage at Power 105.1’s annual Powerhouse concert in Brooklyn . The Tour was scheduled to hit Chicago November 7 and 9. “Now we gotta wait and sit back but I’ll go in the studio and put that energy into the booth. But I definitely was looking forward to them cities. Hopefully, we get back on as soon as possible.” (MTV)
