Days after Young Money president Mack Maine spoke on rumored reports about Atlanta rapper Young Thug being signed to his team, the ATL hip-hop artist has hinted at something stirring with Drake.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, YT teased the Internet about a Drizzy collabo this week.

After getting a cosign from Drake, it was only a matter of time before Young Thug gave the Canadian some mutual rap love. Young Thug posted a video on Instagram today teasing a remix to Drizzy’s “The Language.” “Language remix on the way….” he captioned the video. A few months ago, Drake was spotted dancing up a storm to Young Thug’s “Danny Glover.” (Complex)

A few days ago, Mack Maine said Thugga was a part of the family but had not necessarily signed on any dotted lines.

Today Mack Maine spoke on the status of Cash Money and Thug for Vlad TV, saying that Thug has been adopted by the label. He goes on to expand upon this by saying that he’s been working closely with him. He makes sure not to outright confirm a signing, so we’ll have to wait just a little longer to see what transpires. Recent reports revealed Young Thugga had aligned himself with the growing YMCMB empire.

But he did perk up when I asked him if he officially signed to Cash Money. “Yo, is it official now? Are you signed to Cash Money?” Young Thug immediately turned away from about 50 flashing lights, searched for the dude who asked him what seemed to be the dumbest question in the world, and said, “Yeah. I signed.” Young Thug telling me he signed to Cash Money doesn’t make it 100%, but it’s the first time we’re hearing anything definitive on the matter from the dude himself. If I had more time with Thug maybe I could have asked the poignant questions. (Mass Appeal)

A few weeks ago, the Southern hip-hop artist revealed an intention to partner with fellow ATL rapper Future.

Young Thug talked about feeling some type of way about all the rappers freestyling over all his street bangers circulating the nation right now. He only gave a pass to Lil Wayne rapping over his beats cause that is his idol. Gucci Mane was one of the first Atlanta rappers to co-sign Young Thug so he explained to DJ Drama his relationship with Guwop and if he was signed to him. Which led to the conversation of YT not being signed to anyone and that he is about to ink the deal with Future and Bu with “Freebandz”. (ATL Night Spots)
