Along with the Snowman, the Doc’s newest headphones commercial features a slew of high-profile entertainers.

Beats By Dre pushes strong for the holiday season with their recent campaigns. Following an ad starring Dr. Dre and Kendrick Lamar, the company debuts their new commercial supporting the vibrant Beats Solo HD headphones. Jeezy, Nipsey Hussle, budding R&B star August Alsina, Serena Williams, Jonny Gomes of the World Champion Boston Red Sox, and more star in the new ad. (Miss Info TV)

The commercial follows Dre and Aftermath protégé Kendrick Lamar hooking up for an ad.

It’s been more than a year since Kendrick Lamar released his album, Good Kid, m.A.A.d City, but he’s finally working on some new tracks. One of which he’s previewing in a new Beats by Dre commercial. In the minute and a half long clip, Kendrick teams up with Dr. Dre in a dimly lit studio to lay down a verse. With a blazing horn, Kendrick starts channeling Eminem, spitting a line that shouts out Pyrex and references trap rap and dope. Dre of course looks on proudly. But, before he gets too far into the song, Kendrick calls for a time out. He’s not into it. After a push from Dre to step away, Kendrick decides to go home and sleep on it. But by the next morning he’s in the barbershop, Beats Pill LX speakers in hand, to play the new song for his friends. Once again we get that blazing horn, and that same line. But now we get to see Dre figure out why it is Kendrick’s just not feeling it: “the drums.” (Anti Music)

Recently, Jeezy made headlines for joining rap mogul Jay Z’s growing Roc Nation team.

It appears that Jeezy has aligned himself and possibly his CTE imprint with Roc Nation. Jeezy took a picture with Jay Z, with the caption reading: “It’s Official Now. CTE x Roc Nation x It’s Tha World.” As of now, details of the deal have not been revealed. In the past week, Jeezy has expressed frustration with his own label situation at Def Jam Records. He has threatened to provide fans with “an early X-Mas present” if the situation doesn’t change. Meanwhile, Jeezy’s CTE World label has previously been under Atlantic Records. (Complex)

In a brief Twitter rant, the “Snowman” threatened to leak his own project if Def Jam did not get it together.

“where @LA_Reid when u need him #RIPShakirStewart,” Jeezy tweeted November 12.

“I been perfecting this album 2 years for #myfans”

“N*ggas @ @DefJamRecords keep playing games if you want!”

“If Def Jam don’t get this right y’all got an early xmas gift #myfans”

“This about that fans! That’s all!”

“Lucian and Barry boss up”

“or my fans gonna get an early xmas gift beeleedat #SNOWMAN” (Jeezy’s Twitter)
