Days after his publicized incident with Friday actor Faizon Love, comedian Katt Williams has landed a role in the upcoming Scary Movie 5 horror movie parody flick.
While details are still surfacing, Williams’ role became public knowledge this week.
The actor, rapper and stand-up comedian joins fellow scandal-plagued stars Lindsay Lohan, Mike Tyson, Heather Locklear and Charlie Sheen in the fifth outing of the popular spoof franchise. Katt Williams is shrugging off his recent legal troubles and feud with Faizon Love and has landed a starring role in Dimension’s Scary Movie 5. (The Hollywood Reporter)
Katt joins an all-star cast which already includes Terry Crews and Charlie Sheen.
Williams will appear opposite a diverse cast that includes Ashley Tisdale, Erica Ash, Lindsay Lohan, Charlie Sheen, Simon Rex, Molly Shannon, Terry Crews, Marisa Saks, Heather Locklear, Jasmine Guy, Angie Stone, Kate Walsh, Angela “Big Ang” Raiola, Sherée Whitfield, Mike Tyson, Audrina Patridge and Kendra Wilkinson. Recently, reports claimed co-star Lindsay Lohan stole clothing from the movie’s set.
Lindsay Lohan has been accused of taking $15,000 (£9,349) in wardrobe from the Scary Movie 5 set by a production source. The actress shot a cameo with Charlie Sheen in Atlanta for the latest installment in the Scary Movie franchise in September. An alleged Scary Movie 5 insider has now told The National Enquirer that Lohan raided the set’s wardrobe closet and chose to take home many expensive outfits. (Digital Spy)
The parody flick news comes days after Williams made headlines for a brief scuffle with actor Faizon Love.
Katt Williams is adamant — Faizon Love’s accusation that Katt threatened him with a gun makes Faizon nothing but a big, fat snitch and bald-faced rat … but he DOESN’T deny Faizon speaks the truth. We broke the story … Faizon claimed Katt pulled a gun on him outside Supperclub in Hollywood earlier in the week … Faizon told us he feared for his life. Katt’s diatribe is telling, because the one thing he DOESN’T do is call Faizon a liar. After getting arrested and taken to the station, Katt was released and no charges were filed. (TMZ)
