G-Unit's Tony Yayo is the latest group member to put his differences aside and publicly reach out to ex-labelmate Young Buck in light of being released from jail this fall.
Although brief with his words, the “Talk of New York” hinted at an interest in possibly working with Buck Marley.
“good to see you home homie, lets get this money @youngbuck,” Yayo tweeted November 9. (Tony Yayo’s Twitter)
Recently, former G-Unit president Sha Money XL revealed he and Buck were in the studio and prepping the rapper’s long-awaited comeback project.
“@youngbuck Get em Buck!,” Sha tweeted.
“Quad to Quad From NYC to Nashville-Shadyville to Cashville me and my brother @buckshotz gonna always rock. We back in the kitchen cooking up. #Teamwork #Cashville,” Sha posted onto his Instagram page November 2. (Sha Money XL’s Instagram)
Buck also made sure to acknowledge Sha’s shout-out.
“”@SHAMONEYXL: @youngbuck Get em Buck!” ….I GOT EM!!!!! #HardWork,” Buck responded. (Young Buck’s Twitter)
A couple years ago, Tony Yayo dished on his issues over Sha Money claiming he would be down to work with ex-member Game.
“I heard Sha Money [XL] say he’ll work with Game,” Yayo explained in an interview. “After all the money the n*gga’s done f*cked up, you’re going to work with this guy? But I’m a real n*gga, see, my thing is loyalty and being honest and being real. My whole situation with Game and [Young] Buck — it’s more me being mad, like ‘Why f*ck up the money?’ If we’re all in the business — why would y’all f*ck up the money? It just don’t make sense. Game, I talked to this n*gga on the phone. His album dropped , like ‘Yo, congratulations’…we were like the motherf*cking Beatles…Sha Money’s my n*gga, but why even work with somebody that says, ‘F*ck G-Unit,’ after what we just built? Why build up a brand to destroy it?” (This Is 50 Radio)
Back in February, Buck Marley spoke on a possible Unit reunion and revealed a talk he had with Game before heading to prison for a felony conviction.
This morning, Young Buck dropped the new track, “I See Why,” off the up-coming joint album with Tha City Paper, Gangsta and Street 2. But not before getting some stuff off his chest about the much talked about G-Unit reunion conversation. “Why Do People, Still Think I’m Beefing With G-Unit, Ain’t No Beef.. I Wish Everyone Well.. I’m Doing Me.. Fif Yay Lbanks game YB unit reunion. What would happen if the Unit Got back together?? Spoke with Game before going to prison, we still good.. That JP album dope…,” he tweeted earlier. “Haven’t Spoken To Fif in about 7 years I think it’s time we talk. It’s not about the reunion.. it’s bigger than that it’s about life and acknowledging your wrongs and moving forward.. I was a Young Buck.” (XXL Mag)
