Days after striking a plea deal to avoid time behind bars, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony rapper Krayzie Bone has vowed to change his ways and never get arrested on a driving under the influence charge ever again.

Krayzie said from here on out, he will make sure to have either a designated driver or a car service take the wheel if under the influence.

Krayzie tells TMZ … He’s going to use the classroom time to learn from his mistakes — and is determined to NEVER get busted for DUI ever again. He says, “This was the first time I was ever in a situation like this and I guarantee it will be the last.” Krayzie adds, “From this point forward I will always have a designated driver or car service. If I can’t get those … I will not be drinking at any party I attend, unless I have a responsible way to get home.” (TMZ)

Reports of his plea deal popped up online earlier this week.

As part of the plea agreement, Krayzie pled “no contest” yesterday to driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher — following his July arrest in L.A., when police popped him for DUI. He was sentenced to 3 years summary probation, and must enroll in an alcohol education program asap. Bone had also been charged with an additional DUI count stemming from the arrest, as well as driving without a license, but those two counts were dropped in exchange or the “no contest” plea. (TMZ)

Following the July arrest, Krayzie hopped on Twitter to defend his image.

“They said I was riding dirty but I was simply tryna make it home after a hard day in the studio!,” he tweeted Saturday (July 28). (Krayzie Bone’s Twitter)

After getting booked, Bone’s bail bond was reportedly set for a few thousand dollars.

The 39-year-old rapper, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, near the Ventura (101) Freeway, said Los Angeles police Officer Rosario Herrera of the Media Relations office. Henderson was booked for driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, Herrera said. He was held on $5,000 bail, according to the sheriff’s department. (Daily News)
