[With the new Boys of Zummer tour kicked off this month, Taylor Gang leader Wiz Khalifa tells SOHH if he’s focused on doing more explosive collaborations like this year’s “See You Again” Fast & Furious 7 hit.]
When it comes to the music, I let everything flow and happen naturally.
Being on the Furious 7 soundtrack, they called me because I was on the Fast 6, and that song did really well.
I think they were just interested in trying to recreate.
They wanted to do something to keep me as a part of the franchise which I felt really happy about. I think it was just the energy and the love from the people and the fans, especially with Paul [Walker]’s legacy.
I wouldn’t think we’d get other soundtracks off of the success of just that song, but if it was another natural situation where, you know, I could feel like we’re moving in the right direction, and we’re working towards something, then totally, I could end up on some other soundtracks or doing some other big things in that area.
This guy is delusional if he thinks if was him that made that song a hit. It was all Charlie.
