After Dropping Insane "Hello" Music Vid, Jon James Finally Exhales: "Hard Work Does Pay Off If I Just Stick W/ Sh*t"

[After treating fans to his SOHH First World Premiere “Hello” music video this week, hip-hop stuntman Jon James talks to SOHH and reflects on the high-adrenaline visual.]

I’m really, really happy with how it came out. I am really hard on myself, I’m a big critic on myself.

I remember before we manifested it, thinking of what we were trying to manifest and now I look at it and it came out as what I wanted it to be. Now I’m already onto the next project and so I forget about it.

I get frustrated on these new projects because I’m trying to manifest new sh*t. It’s never easy.

I’ll sit there with a roadblock and I’m like, “You were on a roadblock the last time and got yourself through it.” I gotta remind myself sometimes. I’ve manifested big visions like that before without having any resources and going forward, I can do it again.

Sometimes it’s nice to look at it and remind myself that hard work does pay off if I just stick with sh*t.
