Weeks after Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West begged media outlets and bloggers to remove an unfinished version of his "Black Skinhead" music video, he has kept his promise of releasing the completed interactive visual.

Mr. West decided to unleash the new must-see clip through his personal website, KanyeWest.com.

Kanye West wasn’t to happy about the unfinished version of ‘Black Skinhead’ leaking last week and he took to twitter to express that frustration. “Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it’s heartbreaking when something like this happens….Allow me and Nick to give the world what we’ve been losing sleep over.” Tonight he returns with the official Nick Knight-directed video. Not too much of a difference between the unfinished and finished version visual-wise but those viewing the video on Kanye’s website can now control the pace and take screenshots throughout as well. Different and unexpected to say the least. ‘Black Skinhead’ can be found on ‘Ye’s sixth solo album ‘Yeezus’. (Direct Lyrics)

Earlier this month, he hopped onto his Twitter page and asked everyone to take the unapproved version down.

“The BLKKK SKKKN HD video that leaked yesterday was not the official version.,” Ye tweeted July 9.

“Me and Nick Knight have been working on this video for 5 months and for creatives it’s heartbreaking when something like this happens.”

“The final version will be ready within the next week.”

“So any website that may have the unapproved / unfinished ruff. I ask you to please take it down.”

“Allow me and Nick to give the world what we’ve been losing sleep over.”

“And to who ever leaked the video… FUK YOU!” (Kanye West’s Twitter)

The unedited music video mostly consisted of digital animation.

“They say I’m possessed,” Kanye spits on “Black Skinhead,” the track that gets the first official video from his new album, Yeezus. And the stark three-minute clip, fittingly shot in black and white, does little to dispell the notion. A PED-ripped stand-in wearing little more than a huge gold chain bounces like a fighter stepping into the ring to the thundering clatter of one of the new album’s most industrial-metal tunes. The man is hard. (Rolling Stone)

Despite the positive online reception, the clip was immediately pulled from Ye’s website following its unexpected release.

Kanye West’s “Black Skinhead” video popped up on his website on Monday night, but it didn’t stay there for very long. The rapper pulled the video off his website, which now has returned to a simple photo of jeans with a label announcing West’s collaboration with APC. In the clip, a CGI version of West bops along to the emphatic song. The basic nature of the clip had some wonder whether it was even finished or if it was posted prematurely. Animated faces in black hoods appear alongside barking dogs, visuals that are familiar to those who witnessed West’s Governor’s Ball show in the lead-up to the release of “Yeezus,” the album on which “Black Skinhead” appears.
