Southern rapper Ace Hood has come forward to defend the negative attention R&B star Chris Brown receives from critics and said his "Body 2 Body" collaborator is only focused on success.
Despite making headlines for temper tantrums, Hood said Brown is most concerned with making music.
Ace shares that Chris is really cool and easy to work with — and that people are just hating on him for his success. “He’s a real dude,” reveals Ace. “He’s a star. That’s what people do everytime, being that he got into the altercation in the past — he’s reached the top of success again. That’s all that it is. People want to criticize at the end of the day. He keeps pushing. He ain’t worried about it.” (Hollywood Life)
Ace and Brown’s new “Body 2 Body” premiered online last week.
After hustling hard, Ace Hood slows it down with “Body 2 Body,” the second single from his new album Blood, Sweat & Tears, dropping August 9. Chris Brown seduces the sexy J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League production, promising fireworks in the bedroom. “You’re fu**in’ with a real freak,” he sings. (Rap-Up)
Last month, reports emerged online claiming Brown made numerous anti-gay remarks.
A furious Chris Brown was seen again shouting anti-gay slurs during a pick-up basketball game on June 29. An unidentified source said, when the game did not go well, Chris said “That’s gay!” and “you’re a f*gg*t a**!” to other players. The news, however, has been denied by Chris’s representatives, calling it totally fictitious. (IB Times)
A few days ago, Brown made headlines for drawing in the most fans for his “Today Show” appearance.
Chris Brown has drawn a huge crowd on “Today” show on Friday, July 15 when he performed for its Summer Concert Series. The R&B singer lured over 18,000 people to the free gig taking place at the Rockefeller Plaza. “The crowd for @ChrisBrown concert is now the biggest @todayshow crowd ever!” it was announced on the official Twitter of “Today.” (Ace Showbiz)
