Despite being undershipped, K.R.I.T. told fans on social media he believes his sophomore studio release could sell 50,000 copies in week one.

Check out the first-week sales projections right here…

Based on one-day estimates, K.R.I.T.’s new album is expected to sell up to 45,000 units.

YOUR TOP 15: Taylor Swift will remain on top for at least one more week, after which she’ll be unseated, even if temporarily, by One Direction. We get the distinct impression, however, that this won’t be the last time our Tay is #1 this year. Here’s how it looks headed into the weekend.

Taylor Swift (Big Machine) 300-325k
*Foo Fighters (Roswell/RCA) 185-200k
*Pink Floyd (Columbia) 155-170k
*Garth Brooks (Pearl/RCA Nashville) 120-130k
*Big K.R.I.T. (Def Jam) 40-45k (HITS Daily Double)

Earlier this month, BK released his “Cadillactica” music video.

Just days before his album drops, Big K.R.I.T. blasts into outer space in the futuristic video for “Cadillactica,” the title track off his sophomore album. The Mississippi MC rides through the galaxy in an old school ‘Lac in the slick visuals, directed by Matt Swinsky. (Rap-Up)

  1. Dig KRIT but think he needs to align himself with a label like Hustle Gang or even MMG. Needs that support.

    • nah he is good in his own lane but he does need a better label too many rappers click up and situations never work look at wale i think he already left MMG without the public knowing lol and if he did’nt he will be the first off the label

  2. Big K.R.I.T is dope very talented I don’t get how you could be on Def jam and move 40 to 45k he should be over 100k I don’t think his sales are bad but what is Def jam doing if this was independent he winning but its not this is a major label it just doesn’t make sense to be signed
